What is Kutsu.app?
Kutsu app is a way to invite and gather people to events and get-togethers. Being with other people is one of the nicer things in life and Kutsu.app hopes to make it a tiny bit easier.
With the online service, users can create pages or “events” to share details of whats happening and collect signups. Signing up for events is possible for anyone with an email address and creating events is possible for registered users.
For now, Kutsu.app is a free independent software project with no organization behind it. The team behind Kutsu.app is located in Helsinki Finland. The word “Kutsu” means invitation in Finnish.
Kutsu.app isn’t funded by other than its creators and does not collect revenue. However, we are not disclosing possibilities of making revenue in the future for example with paid premium users. Whatever it’ll be, the business model won’t be conflicting with the privacy statements below.
Privacy
In general:
- Kutsu.app does not sell, distribute, or share data with third parties or make money with it in any way.
- The data users give is shared as clearly intended; public information will be available for people with access to where it's published and privately given information stays between people it's intended for.
- Only the team behind Kutsu.app has access to all the data for cases like Troubleshooting etc.
- Kutsu.app reserves the right to delete any illegal, offending, or other data from its services without notice.
Note: Kutsu.app doesn't have an official governing body behind it, only people. Legally Kutsu.app refers to the service in general and the people responsible for it.
Kutsu.app collects two types of information:
1. App information:
- In short, every piece of information users gives to the application ( ie. name, email, and information about the organized events. )
- Additionally, the service saves timestamp information about submitting forms for creating events, signing up, or editing both of the former.
It is possible to ask us to delete any bit of this information regarding you personally.
The App information is handled and stored by Google Cloud services (Firebase) and is located in Belgium, Netherlands, and Finland.
2. Analytics information
- Analytics information is automatically collected information about site visitors that is not connected to App information and therefore not personalized in any way.
- The software used for analytics is Matomo (matomo.org) which is hosted independently and in full control of Kutsu.app.
Here we can not distinguish your personal information from the rest.
The Analytics information is handled and stored by the Digital Ocean cloud platform and is located in Germany.
